| Tizer™ SysScan scans the system processes, registry, and other specific areas in a computer. It shows critical information about a system to conclude whether it has infections or not. |

After selecting the scan button, Tizer™ SysScan will start scanning registry areas, processes, services, drivers, and critical sections which can easily get infected on a computer. |

Running a scan will provide you the following information: |
| |
(i) Information about the operating system & default internet browser of the user. |
| |
(ii) Informs you if the Internet Explorer browser is compromised or hijacked. |
| |
(iii) Shows details of the scans that were done for critical sections in the registry. This is done for winlogon notify entries, appinit dlls, and control panel/Internet Explorer/user policy restrictions. |

(iv) All shared DLL file names are listed. The safe list excludes Microsoft protected files as well as other files that are considered safe by Tizer™ SysScan. |

(v) Scans for startup registry entries, startup files in the computer, and shared task scheduler entries. |
| |
(vi) DLL files loaded in winsock can be responsible for blocking access to legitimate sites and these files are also listed in the scan. |

(vii) Lists tasks scheduled in the computer that get activated automatically at specified timings. |
| |
(viii) Lists browser helper objects as well as toolbars installed in the internet browser. |
| |
(ix) If a site is added to the hosts file it gets blocked for accessing, and such entries are listed in the hosts file area. |

(x) Scans loaded processes & modules and detects if any are hidden. |
| |
(xi) Lists running drivers & services in the computer. |

The stop scan button stops the scan from running. |

The scan again button can be used if the user wishes to scan for a second time. |

Tizer™ SysScan creates a log of the scan results and the user may select the view log button to access this log. The log may also be saved. |

The user can send the log to the Tizer Secure™ Support Team directly for analysis by selecing the send log button. |
